With the demise of Nauset Regional FISH, an organization that provided medical rides to seniors in the Nauset Region, Nauset Neighbors is seeking volunteers to help fill the void.

Nauset Newcomers Supports Nauset Neighbors

In an update to a previous article the Cape Cod Times wrote:

"Ever since we reported in June 2011 that Cape Cod lacks a fully developed chronic-care network for the elderly, even though we have the highest percentage of people over 65 in the state, some progress has been made to improve our long-term care system. ... We applaud several recent initiatives."

Beacon Hill Village and other non-profit groups affiliated with Village to Village provide a wide variety of support services to Seniors.

Nauset Neighbors held its Annual Meeting on May 15, 2012 and elected a new Board of Directors.

Nauset Neighbors has begun serving members in Harwich.
